Charleston Leaders
Empower Yourself To Lead
We are Charleston Leaders! Our mission is to foster and develop leaders in our community. We do that with various programming focused on leaders and leadership development.
We truly care about the community we live in, the business we engage with, the people we interact with and the children who are our future leaders.
Our Programs
Leader Academy
Leader Academy is a program for High School Sophomores to discover leadership potential within themselves and to match students with community needs, community resources and community opportunities. The Leader Academy will provide monthly interaction with community leaders and partners in a variety of discussion opportunities to examine issues facing our region.

Beth Peterson
Empowerment Strategist: Creating space for inspiration, productivity, and growth.
In addition to being a crazy mom, loyal friend, lover of all things Charleston, and wine junkie, I am also the Business Center Manager for the King Street location of Office Evolution. Having grown up in an entrepreneurial family and having owned businesses of my own, I love the opportunity to help business owners find workspace solutions and meet their needs as they grow.
As the owner of Counter Talks w/Beth, I enlist women to empower themselves and move confidently into their Next. I provide safe spaces and share 4 confidence-building habits through workshops, retreats, social events, and one-on-one and group coaching designed to draw out their internal badass and have fun along the way.
I enjoy participating in events and organizations supporting local businesses and educational programs. As a fangirl volunteer for Charleston Leaders, I get to participate in both building relationships within the business community as well as being a part of creating leadership solutions for Lowcountry teachers and students.
