Wendy W. Kopp is a Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Advisor with FineMark National Bank & Trust in Charleston. Prior to joining FineMark, Mrs. Kopp was a senior manager at Capital Group Companies, serving as senior vice president & investment counselor for their Private Client Services Southeast Division. Prior to that, she was managing director, market executive, and private client advisor at U.S. Trust for ten years leading teams in Atlanta and Charleston.  She initially relocated to the south in 2002 with First Citizens Bank to build their Investment Management and Trust business on the Coast of South Carolina.  Earlier in her career, Mrs. Kopp was director of marketing for Wilmington Trust where she played a major role in building the national wealth management business, overseeing strategic acquisitions, and opening several new offices in key wealth centers throughout the U.S.

Mrs. Kopp earned a bachelor’s degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.

Mrs. Kopp enjoys being active in the communities where she lives and works. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors of the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, and was most recently Vice Chairman of the Advancement Committee, Finance Committee and a member of the Development Committee for the Woodruff Arts Center.   Mrs. Kopp is also a Trustee at the Atlanta Girls School, serves on the Carter Center Board of Councilors, and is a member of Georgia Planned Giving Society and Technology Association of Georgia. She is also a longtime supporter and served on the initial steering committee for Women’s Leadership Committee of Trident United Way. Mrs. Kopp is a former board member of The Gibbes Museum of Art and the Susan G. Komen Lowcountry Affiliate. Wendy looks forward to becoming more involved in the Charleston Community.

Wendy and her husband Scott and their two children are thrilled to be back home in Charleston.
